Be creative
Jarod | February 27, 2010I am looking for a name for a new site I plan to start: a blog about software testing. I want to take the best-practice-from-the-trenches approach, i.e. talk about real experiences, though I might add some theory here and there. Obviously I can’t talk about the company I work for. I’ll talk in a broader sense and use “roles” to describe people.
I need a name though. Recently I found how software testing often is like going to a doctor, so I wanted to go with The Clinic. But guess what, that and everything close is taken and probably copyrighted to death.
So I thought about witty wordplays, hmm, like Necessarily Evil or Defect Management. Anything that’s original and not copyrighted or at least utterly trivial. It just need some kind of relation to software testing, programming or company culture.
What do you think of my ideas – and more importantly, do you have any better ones?
